John 7:37-39 KJV — In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. [38] He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. [39] (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
The Bible teaches that if any man believes, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. In effective, if any man believes he must receive and walk in the spirit!
If you can receive and walk in the spirit, don’t be ignorant but strive to know and engage:
- The person and nature of the Holy Spirit
- The presence and demonstration of the Holy Spirit
- The power of the Holy Spirit
- The purpose and work of the Holy Spirit
- The fellowship of the Holy Spirit
- The gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit
- The fruit of the Spirit
- How to receive the Holy Spirit
- How to impart the Holy Spirit
- The sweet influences of the Holy Spirit
It is going to be very difficult if not impossible to receive and walk in the spirit until you know and engage with these things. When the Bible says walk in the spirit, you can only walk in the quality of the spirit that flows from your belly.
