We are called to influence the seven blocks of culture with light. We must influence arts and entertainment, business, media, education, governance, family, and religion with the force and reality of faith. Until our faith and fire make a positive impact on the blocks of culture around us, we are failing in our assignment.
Five forces that will guarantee this kind of impact are:
The manifestations of the son of God:
There must be the rise of men and women who are sold out for the spread of the gospel. There must the manifestation of sons of God. Many often the work of missions and influence is left undone there are not real sons and daughters and co-labourers who have a personal passion and faith for the work. All creation therefore await the manifestation of the sons of God. May the Lord inspire the rise of real sons and daughters and co-labourers in your life.
“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” (Romans 8:19 KJV)
1 Chronicles 12:23-38 teaches that men of war who could keep ranks and have a perfect heart came to make David king over Israel.
I pray that God will surround you with real men and women who can keep ranks, have a perfect heart and can make war. You will never be surrounded by fake people.
The manifestation of the Holy Ghost:
1 Corinthians 12:7 teaches that the manifestation of the Holy Spirit is for profit making and not for emotional gratification. The word of knowledge and word of wisdom, gifts of faith and healing, interpretation of tongues, discernment of spirits, etc, are given for tangible profiting and increase. You can not make impact without the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.
The manifestation of glory:
Until the glory appear on you, people might take you for granted. I speak that your glory shall appear and anything that taints your testimony shall bow before the glory of God on your life.
The manifestation of the truth:
Sometimes until the manifestation of the truth people will label you wrongly and accuse you. One of the most effective ways to commend yourself to the conscience of every man is by the manifestation of the truth.
“Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.” (2 Corinthians 4:1-2 KJV)
The demonstration of the Spirit and power:
Israel feared and honoured Moses because they saw the manifestation of power. Your generation and world will honour you because they see the power of God at work in your life. We should believe God because of the manifestation of power and Spirit in our lives. This is one of the things that would help us to impact the world around us with light. (See 1 Corinthians 2:1-4)
“And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:” (1 Corinthians 2:3-4 KJV)
Indeed, these are the five things that we need to empower us to influence the seven blocks of culture. Remember, the quality of culture which our children inherit determines the quality of decisions they make. Arise and help make the world godly again!
