In this last days the Lord is determined to open unto us a great and effective door (See 1 Corinthians 16:9). The Lord shall bring us into a realm which we have to influence. There is a place in life that you must occupy and impact with your gift.
You are an agent of light in a dark and crooked world. You are sent to your family, to that institution and community so that in your light they might find light. We have been entrusted with various spheres of society.
God will give you a mountain and drive out great nations before you. As the Lord lives, you will be celebrated by your generation if you will order your steps right. The Lord is leading us to the glory places in life. Some will possess various realms of business, government, media, arts and entertainment, family, religion, and education. You will influence how things are done in this realm. Your influence shall be felt and will be godly. You will not be lost in the crowd. You will lead and orient whole industries.
You shall not scratch with chicken anymore. You will soar as an eagle with eagles. You will mount up with wings. Beside, the mother eagle shall carry us on his wings. You will be in charge; keep pressing.
Deuteronomy 7 teaches us seven simple hints to thrive in your realm and mountain:
1. Make no covenants with the heathen:
Deuteronomy 7:2 tells us that when we come to the mountain, we should not make covenants with the giants in the land. We are not in the industry to conform. We are here to influence, make no leagues with them. Remember, evil communication corrupts good manners.
2. Make no marriages with them:
Deuteronomy 7:3-4 teaches that you will not be able to influence the place God gives you if you date or marry unbelievers there. There are times when God takes us to a place and the only thing we do is to sleep around with unbelieving dogs. Many Christians have become so immoral that the gospel looks ineffective in the eyes of the world. May you wake up and stop sleeping around with unbelieving dogs. Do not even marry them, let alone to date or to fornicate with them.
3. Cut down and demolish their altars, images, grooves, and graven images:
(See Deuteronomy 7:5) You can influence your mountain if you refuse to bow to what they bow to. The three Hebrew boys in Babylon made an impact on that nation’s religion and governance because they refused to bow to the king’s image.
How about Elijah? He made a significant impact because he refused to conform to the worship of Baal. He refused to bow to their graven image. He did not change the content of his message. You are there to stand for the truth. You are there to represent Christ.
4. Be holy unto the Lord:
It is the secret to keeping covenant with God. The Lord defends those who are separated into Him. (See Deuteronomy 7: 6-10)
5. Keep God’s commandment:
It’s your trump card to blessings. The Lord bless those who keep His commandments. You will influence and impact that home, your spouse and children if you keep the commandments of the Lord. (See Deuteronomy 7:11-17)
6. Don’t be afraid of the giants nor be afrighted:
The Lord shall go before you as an hornet to drive out them. (See Deuteronomy 7: 18-23) The Lord will give you the land.
7. Don’t serve their kings:
No man can serve two masters. Don’t serve what they serve. (Deuteronomy 7:24-26) Many people are out there serving money but you shall serve the Lord.
Be blessed; I love you
