A mystery is an unsearchable or incomprehensible fact that is only completely understood when revealed. I want to talk about twelve mysteries that must be restored to the Church if we want to fully access the power of God revealed to us.
We shall discuss the what, the why, and then the how.
What are these
- The mystery of hearing and soaking in the word. This is the mystery that births faith, ministers the spirit, and moves God to work miracles (See Romans 10:17, Galatians 5:1-3, Psalm1:1-3)
- The mystery of speaking what you believe. The spirit of faith is to speak what you believe. (See 2 Corinthians 4:13)
- The mystery of assembling together. It is in assembling that we receive the rubbing of the presence of God on us.
- The mystery of giving offerings, tithes, and seeds. This is the secret to increase. What you are enjoying today is the fruits of the seeds you sowed yesterday; what you will enjoy tomorrow depends on the seeds you are putting in the ground today.
- The mystery of breaking bread. John 6:63 teaches that we inherit eternal life through the Communion.
- The mystery of saying amen. The church must say amen at the giving of blessings. Saying amen is the spiritual way of affirming that you want the blessing.
- The mystery of the anointing. The anointing is that unseen presence that makes all the difference in ministry and life.
- The mystery of ministering to the Lord in worship and fasting
- The mystery of impartation through laying on of hands, breathing upon, and aprons from the anointed
- The mystery of lifting holy hands
- The mystery of the fruits of the lips, the sacrifice of praise
- The mystery of corporate prayers
Why should we restore them?
We should restore the practice of these mysteries because, even though our God is mighty to save, the keys that release Him to act are buried in these mysteries.
His mighty works in us release the blessings. He can do exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or think according to His mighty power that is at work in us.
How to restore
- Know these mysteries and why it is important to restore them to the Church
- Prioritise them in every worship and life
Stay blessed
