Hebrews 10:23-25 KJV — Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [24] and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: [25] not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
There are certain things you experience when you step into a great meeting, and arena of miracles.
1. The presence of God
The word teaches that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there. God is a Spirit and when you step into a great meeting, you experience the presence of God. The presence of God must set the tone for the meeting, and form the foundation of the ambience. In His presence there is fullness of joy and at His right hand there are pleasures forever more. Whenever the children of God gather, His presence shifts there.
2. Praise
We enter the Father‘s house with thanksgiving in our heart, into his courts with praise, we come into His presence with singing. Every great service is characterised with praises and great singing. Even in heaven one of the key things we will experience in the presence of God is the singing and worship of angels. We will sing a new song which only the saints know how to sing.
3. Teaching
Thirdly, the teaching, the wisdom, and the power of God. Isaiah 2:1-3 teaches that when the nations gather on the hill of God which is above all the hills, the HighCity, God will teach us His ways and empower us to walk in it. Every great encounter with God leads to learning and catching the wisdom and power of God. Every great meeting is characterised by great teaching.
4. Fellowship and love
The fourth thing is the fellowship and love; where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. When you step into a great service, you experience the love and fellowship of God and the brethren. The Holy Spirit wants to fellowship with us. Do you recall the benediction, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us. Every great meeting and encounter has the ambience of love and fellowship.
5. Healing and restoration
The fifth thing that characterises a great meeting is healing. Luke 5:17 reveals that on a certain day, our Lord Jesus Christ was in the synagogue teaching and the power of God was present to heal. In every great service, the power of God is present to heal and restore the bruised, maimed, halt and broken.
May the Lord show up today to heal our brokenness and pain and shame! Receive grace and be healed in the name of Jesus Christ!
