Times and seasons are the creation of God. They do not change on their own. Times and seasons are ruled by principalities and dominion. The sun and the moon and the stars are actually principalities and dominions created by God to rule over time and seasons. The Scriptures reveal that God created the sun to rule over day and the moon over night. These are principalities and dominions created to rule and govern.
It is important then that as the times and seasons change we prepare ourselves for the new opportunities and threats that the new season unleashes. Child of God! We know that all things are moving towards a state of chaos and anarchy; if you do not prepare yourself for the coming season, you may struggle through time.
There are five key areas to prepare for the coming season: spiritually, soulishly, bodily, network, and work. These are the five dimensions of our lives. You must therefore prepare;
Spiritually
Many of the things that will happen in the coming season are predetermined by what happens in the realms of the spirit. Job went through his crisis because there was a spiritual challenge. You must access and influence the heavenliness for your advantage.
Soulishly
Your soul is the you that drives you. It is the centre of emotions. Our Lord Jesus Christ at one point said “my soul is sorrowful even unto death”. The soul has knowledge, desires, emotions, and life. You must prepare your soul. Your soul is the you that drives you.
Bodily
We already know that the body is the vehicle within which you travel. The body is the vehicle that carries you. A strong spirit in a battle-wearied body can still not function. You must prepare your body for your new season.
[Hebrews 10:5-7 KJV] “Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, But a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (In the volume of the book it is written of me,) To do thy will, O God.”
God prepared the body of Jesus Christ to be able to offer the kind of sacrifice that was required of Him.
Network
There is a saying that “your network will determine your net worth”. Who you connect and relate with will determine how you will fare. Evil communication corrupts good manners; blessed is the man who knows where and with whom to sit, stand, and walk. Many have made a shipwreck of destiny because they did not think to understand where and who to sit with, walk and stand!
Work
Finally, these four things fit into your reason for being: work, warfare, and worship.
Stay blessed
