[Revelation 3:7-8 KJV] “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;”
“I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name”
We have already learned that because we have kept the word of God and not denied His name, though our strength may be little; the Lord has set before us an open door, and will help us to access that door.
We have also learned that a door both gives and restricts access. We learn that the door that God is setting before us will;
Firstly prevent evil from touching you, secondly, prevent you from touching evil, and thirdly, give you access to grace for amplified effort and finding pasture.
We must pray that God will open our eyes to see the opened door that is set before us. There are seven doors that God opens, which we must see and access. These are;
1. Jesus:
In John 10:7, we understand that Jesus is the door. He is the great door that must lead in and out of life. Jesus is the door by which those who are saved may go in and out and find pasture. He is the door that leads to the Father’s presence and salvation.
2. Doors of opportunities:
In 1 Corinthians 16:9, we understand that there is a great door and effectual that opens unto us. I pray that this week will be unto you a week of opened doors. May doors of opportunities and access be opened and set before you! You will not miss the way and be stranded!
3. Doors of the temple:
These are the doors by which healing streams and water flows into every area of our lives. John 7:34-37 assures us of streams of living water that will flow out of our bellies. In Ezekiel 47, we understand that the waters that flow from the temple heal everything it touches. May you receive these healing powers!
4. Doors of Escape:
The Bible teaches that no temptation has come upon us except what is common to men. The Bible assures us that God will surely make a way out. May your eyes be open to the way of escape! Amen!
5. Doors of ministry and service:
In Acts 14, the apostle mentioned how the Lord had opened unto them doors of ministry. I pray that the Lord will enlighten you to see the doors of ministry that He is opening unto you.
6. Opened prison gate:
There are times when the enemy tries to shut up your destiny in prison. We must pray that the same God who brought Peter, Paul, and Silas out of prison shall also shake your prisons open; that you and your destiny may be released for expression. Your prison gates must open for you to come out and shine! Aman!
7. The door of utterance:
In Colossians 4:3, we learn that until the door of utterance is opened unto you, you may not be able to say the right things. I pray for you that you shall open your mouth and speak with wisdom and courage in every situation. May the Lord give you utterance and may your words heal the world!
Stay blessed
