7 Things Growing Churches do Daily, which Others Don’t

I want to share five things growing churches do which others don’t. Growing churches minister prayer, market the brand, minister the word, offer pastoral care, build the things that are lacking, take care of their pastor, and find faithful men to train daily. Growing churches work at these things daily. We will grow when we work at these things daily.

1. Pray:

The church must pray and intercede daily for all men, and for people in authority. We must stand in the gap and pray. Growing churches pray every day and intercede for lost souls. You will not judge souls you are interceding for. You will not judge me if you are praying for me. I will not judge you if I am interceding for you. Praying for all men will make us more tolerant of them.

2. Market their brand:

Doing business without marketing and advertising is like winking at a woman in the dark, you know what you are doing but no one else does. We need to market the church daily. We must advertise and sell the product of the church. We must tell our friends about the church daily. We must invite them and give them a reason to attend.

3. Minister the word:

We must minister the word in the churches, from house to house, market to market, and from the rooftops. We must preach the word and share with many. Growing churches seize the occasion to teach and preach the word. They always preach and teach what their pastor taught. Growing churches are proud of what their pastor teaches and preaches.

4. Offer effective pastoral care:

We must visit the sick, the fatherless, and widows in their afflictions. That is pure religion undefiled. Growing churches visit each other. They visit the poor and the widows in their affliction. Growing churches visit each other and support each other through trying times. You can grow this church when each of us is committed to retaining each other. They go every extra mile to retain each other.

5. Build the things that are lacking:

We must find out the things that are lacking and build them. Growing churches are committed to building the things that are lacking. We can build if we commit ourselves to it. Let’s build the church and ministries. We can buy a new keyboard, PA system, and build a new house. We just have to come together.

6. Take care of their pastor:

Growing churches take care of their pastors. They don’t starve their pastor. Growing churches love their pastors. God is happy when churches love their pastor. I pray that we can love our pastors and support them.

7. Find faithful men to train:

Find, train, and ordain others to minister: the things you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same committed to other faithful men who can teach others.
