My message today is 8 reasons why you should not let your heart be troubled.
[John 14:1 KJV] “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me”
God said in my quiet time “Let not your heart be troubled: believe in me and believe in my son.” There are two ways in this life:
- To live in fear and fright until you run from your own shadows or
- To walk by faith in the spirit and fight the good fight of faith.
You have a choice: to either live in fear and fright or to stand in faith and fight. When you stand in faith and fight, the adversary will flee from you. You must choose and I admonish you to stand in faith and fight!
He asked me “Do you know why you should not let your heart be troubled?”
1. There is no reason to fret when you can pray.
He said in His word that we should be anxious for nothing but in all things, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, we should make our requests known unto God. When we pray He hears and He answers; so why fret when you can pray.
2. All things are possible to him that believes.
Believe in God and in His Son Jesus, because all things will work and become possible when we believe. All things will soon become possible; faith will deliver the results.
3. “I (God) am on top of My game; no situation is a hopeless case for Me”.
As far as God is concerned, there is no hopeless situation. What God cannot do does not exist. God is on top of His game, you can count on Him.
4. Because you are not handicapped in any way, you have all it takes to do greater works.
[John 14:12-14 KJV] “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it”
5. You are not alone; I have given you a Comforter.
[John 14:15-18 KJV] “If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you”
6. I (Jesus) will manifest Myself to you
[John 14:15-18 KJV] “If ye love me, keep
my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”
7. Nothing shall by any means hurt you, because God is with you.
Remember, the prince of the power of the air has nothing in you. There is nothing that can work against you. You are a champ!
8. Even if things do not change, we will not be here forever; we are going to a place where there is no sorrow nor pain.
Finally, remember, we are heaven-bound. Nothing can stop us. We are travelling to a place where neither death nor weakness can stop us.
Stay blessed
