I want to exhort you today on the secrets to a happier life:
1. Love righteousness and hate iniquity:
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
[Hebrews 1:9 KJVS] “Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.”
2. Be with such as you have:
The Bible exhorts us to be content with such as we have. The Bible assures us that we have God and He will never leave nor forsake us, hence the need to be content with such as we have and not be covetous.
Don’t be covetous of anybody’s blessing or breakthrough because you don’t know the full story. Often, you are ignorant of the prices people have paid in order to possess what they have. The simple secret to a happier life is to be content with such as you have. God is with you!
[Hebrews 13:5 KJV] “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
3. Start and end your day with prayer:
I have said this over and over again. Prayer is the master key to peace and solutions. Those who pray achieve more than those who don’t. Prayer releases power, knowledge, and the smartness to escape danger. Let us learn to start and end our day with prayer as the Lord Jesus Christ, David, Daniel, and all the saints did. This is a step to greater peace and happiness.
4. Get enough sleep:
I believe with all of my heart that sleep is good medicine. A rested body gives the best mood for function. I believe God gives his beloved sleep. He wants us to rest. Always find time to eat and sleep to be able to continue with peace and joy.
5. Eat right:
What you eat has a way of impacting your mood. I believe that when you find the diet that is best for your body type, you are likely to shape your mood. You can have better days when you eat right and at the right time.
6. Groom right:
Grooming is important to your mood. You must groom, shave, bath, oil, and walk in beauty. Your grooming will determine people’s responses to you.
7. Stay active:
Staying active sharpens the brain. There is a connection between your mood and exercise. An active body creates a healthy mind. Get 30 minutes of sunlight every day for a change.
8. Work hard work smart:
It takes more than hard work to find greater peace and joy; you just work smart. Not everything can be done by muscle, somethings must be done by thinking and strategy.
9. Live your life one day at a time:
Many unhappy people worry about things they cannot change or have control over. For instance, you cannot determine who you have around you but you can choose who you hang around. You cannot determine when it should rain or shine; you can just make enough hay while the sun shines.
I believe that each of us can live a happier life, it is possible!
I love you!
Amen
