Today’s Bible Reading: Matthew 6:19-33

It was the night of my birthday, and I sat pondering what life has been like and nothing came to mind except a piece of music, “Lord I hope the stay; I don’t need fame and I don’t need fortune, Lord I hope you understand …”

Oh yes! God understands because He understood my frame before I was formed. But one thing is still true though, that we cannot rewrite yesterday, but we have the opportunity to write tomorrow well.

Tonight, as you end your day;

  1. Appraise the day’s work: what did you set out to do?
  2. Ask God to forgive you for your poor choices and sinful acts
  3. Take a clean sheet of paper, prepare a To-do List.
  4. Take a good bathe and go to sleep.

It is vain to sit up late and to rise early only to eat the bread of sorry (See Psalm 127:2). Let us cast the care of our days upon the Lord

Then when you rise up in the morning;

  1. Thank God for life
  2. Read your Bible and pray
  3. Plan your day based on the To-do List
  4. Prepare and take you bath
  5. Eat a good breakfast and get down to work
  6. Find time in the day to read, train, interact, and build relationships.

This is the simple routine to a stress-free life with a purpose.

Today’s Prayer

Dear God

Help me to be able to accept that except You build the house, I would labour in vain, Amen!
