Inheriting Wealth From Above

Today’s Reading:

Matthew 6:19-34

If we seek what the world is seeking, the world can succeed in baiting us. What the church seeks must be different from what the unbelieving world is seeking for.

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’  For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.  But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:31-33 English Standard Version, ESV)

Our Father knows the value and importance of treasures and riches yet He encourages his children never to focus on money. Money is not just a beast but a task master that leads its captives astray. Without doubt, anyone who is lured by the lustre and glitters of money and wealth shall be bitten and pierced through with many foolish and hurtful lust.

We must rather trust God and seek first His kingdom and His right way of doing things. When we seek God, He adds to us money and wealth but when we seek money, it captivates and enslaves us.

In Isaiah 45:1-3, the prophet proclaims that God is working on how to tactically transfer the wealth of darkness to those who seek His will. This transfer of treasures and riches is to the church and Saints.

Encourage one another; and encourage your children to seek God’s will to inherit the wealth that is being transferred. None should make money making a focus. Rather we should seek to do the will of God. The will of God is that none should perish. God wants all men saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

This wealth transfer is taking place through strategic warfare and not through compromise. Many are being deceived to compromise but God never said we shall run after riches. God’s plan of wealth transfer is a resolve to seek the kingdom and his righteousness. You don’t have to compromise and lose your soul. You can serve God, seek his kingdom and still gain the treasures and riches.

Resolve to seek the kingdom and the righteousness of God. Reject everything that is ungodly. Don’t be enticed. Defend what is right and God will bless you.

As you serve the Lord with your household, receive the treasure of salvation, healing, prosperity, and all the goods that the world is running after.

 

Today’s Prayer

Father, I so appreciate Your exhortations to me. I desire to be involved in fulfilling Your will on the Earth, so please lead me in Your righteousness into these higher realms of salvation, and wealth in Jesus’ name.
