Love has Thick Skin

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.” (1 John 4:10-11 KJV)

Love has thick skin. When God says love one another, you need great grace to do that. We cannot love one another unless we are all born again by the spirit of God. You cannot love as God loves unless you have the Spirit of God.

Love is when someone has seen all the dark shadows in you, when someone has seen all the holes in your pants and shoes, and still sticks with you;

1. Love is better than choice wine
2. Love is better than choice meat
3. Love is strong as death; love is enduring; love sticks around even in difficult times
4. Love is selfless and sacrificing; love thinks of what to give and not what to take.
5. Love seeks the best in people; love seeks ways to make you better.

Beloved, let us love for love is of God. God loved us and gave His son for us; as a propitiation. Today, as we celebrate the eve of Christmas, let us resolve to love one another.

We must develop thick skin and be willing to stick our neck for each other. It will protect and preserve that which is yours and you mine.

Let us give up selfishness and love without discrimination. The world is watching and the community around us is also watching.

It is time to manifest love so that the world would know we are of God.
