Wait for the Outpouring and Infilling of the Holy Spirit

Today’s Reading: Luke 24:44-53

Christ has suffered, everything written is fulfilled; it’s time to pursue but you must not step out in your own might and power; wait for the promised Spirit. The only person who can truly help you get to your goals is the Holy Spirit.

Without any iota of doubt, it is expedient to wait for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and we must wait in His presence. This is because;

1. He will empower us with power and might for good and greater works (Acts 1:8, Acts 10:38)
2. He will gather people by His hissing sound to your rising (Isaiah 60: 1-4, Isaiah 5:10)
3. He will lead us into all truth (John 16:13)
4. He bears His fruits in us; He imparts His attitude to our lives (Galatians 5:22-24)
5. He will renew our strength so that we can run and not grow weary and soar with wings as eagles. (Isaiah 40: 29-31)

The simple secret to waiting for outpouring and infilling of the Holy Ghost are in the anchor text;

1. Come to the mountain of the Lord with an expectation
2. Come with gladness and joy in your heart
3. Come to wait
4. Maintain your praise and keep blessing God in worship
