Fight the Good Fight

More goes to more; so the devil, who wants to keep you in perpetual poverty will fight your attempt to get more. It is time to arise as individuals and as a family to fight the good fight of faith. More comes to more, hence the need to fight for more.

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:12 KJV)

Whenever you decide to pursue godly goals, you would literally come against the walls and resistance of the flesh, darkness, and the world.

Immediately, you decide to pursue godly goals, the devil, the flesh and the world will gang up against you. This does not mean you should quit but rather to step up your game.

When you have thought carefully through your purpose, analyse your options, plan your actions, prepare logistics and resources; it’s then time to try, do it, do it again, and keep doing it.

To fight the good of faith;

1. Keep seeing visions;

See what you are becoming, see the invisible God, see the promise and not the giants. Lift up your eyes and fix your gaze on the brazen serpent (John 3:14); consider Jesus, lest you become weary in your mind (Hebrews 12:1-3). Set your eyes on the joy set before you.

2. Overcome obstacles;

Don’t be stopped, press in and press on. Forge through uncertainties and press on gallantly. Cast off every weight and sin that easily besets you, and run with patience your race.

3. Give yourself wholly;

Pour yourself into the pursuit. You must fall and die in the ground as a corn of wheat.

5. Try to do it,
6. Do it again,
7. Keep doing it.

Arise oh men of God! let’s fight the good fight of faith as gallant men of faith.
