If you are a truly loyal person, then remember, the best part is not what you started but finishing what you started.

And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago (2 Corinthians 8:10 KJV)

There are many starters in life but only few finishers. Many of us are very good at starting things but sooner than later our passion and zeal grows stale. Indeed, this is not how it ought to be. God rewards those who overcome to the end and not those who merely start out. In the kingdom, there are no consolation prizes, only loyalty prizes.

The Lord wrote to the Seven churches in Revelations over seven times that he that overcomes shall… and then He adds the various rewards. God is looking for overcomes and not starters. I believe that this is for the simple reason that we will all face challenges in our endeavour to set and pursue godly goals. Even though some may quit and others will fight through, the real champions among us are those who press forward to the mark of the prize of the high calling of God.

I believe that each one of us will arise to finish what they started. None shall run away from the battle. You shall run to the battle and perform that which you started last year.

Loyalty is about staying and sticking through with us. Loyalty is about remaining constant and unchanging in your allegiance. Loyalty is about finishing what you start. Loyalty is about saying something and carrying it out to completion.

It is therefore important to be loyal to the right things, to the higher authority and to the cause of Christ.

1. Arise and think
2. Analyse
3. Plan
4. Try
5. Do it
6. Do it again
7. Keep doing it till you succeed

You shall not fail! Press forward and run with passion.

Today’s Prayer 

Dear God, help me to be loyal and to finish what we started with zeal and fresh passion.
