In today’s devotional we will look at how faith in the word of the Master inspires positive action that yields results.
Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake (Luke 5:4–6 KJV)
There are many people like Peter, James, and John who have quit trying in life. Many are washing their nets and hanging in, waiting to see what will happen. After they had toiled all night, without catching anything, these men decided to wash their nets and go home; but a single encounter with the master transformed their lives.
Their faith in the words of the master led to a breakthrough, they never imagined.
In that same way, if we can trust the Word of God to us, our lives would be enriched with faith to act. By that faith, we can arise to act for a bumper harvest. You will not give up! You will not degenerate! The Lord will bless and change your life.
May you receive grace to believe! God is speaking and He is ready to bless those who believe! May His word inspire you to aspire for higher heights! May you receive the fresh energy to press on and continue. May your spirit be revived to press on towards greater works in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
