Dating is not biblical but have come to be part of the social life of the church. Many of God’s precious children are being deceived, abused and taken for granted all in the name of dating.
Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. (1 Corinthians 6:13 KJV)
Dating as defined must be a social meeting between two people of the opposite sex with the intention of collecting data on each other that could lead to proposal and acceptance; but not for mating.
It is senseless and silly to mate on a date. Dating is for data collection. When on a date focus on getting to know your date beyond what they told you. Dating is for finding out things.
Remember the text, the body is not for fornication but for the Lord. Your body is the temple of God and must be preserved. You must respect your body; your body is the vehicle that carries you around. Any sin is without the body but fornication is both a sin against God and your body. Those who fornicate, sin against both God and their body.
I pray for grace that we can be smart to know that dating is not for mating but for data collection. You will honour your body from today. Those who fornicate face a terrible danger of destruction. Stay blessed and stay strong.
