Praying Right

Praying is not the problem but praying right. Many ask and do not receive because they ask amiss. Instead of praying by faith, they pray by lust.

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts (James 4:3 KJV)

You can pray by faith when you hear by the word. Faith, we know comes by hearing and hearing by God. Those who pray by faith spend time in the word. They spend time to know what God is saying concerning their situation or circumstances, and pray accordingly.

Prayer is effective when it is according to the will of God. The will of God may be found in His word. The word of God reveals the will of God. Those who pray right pray by the word. You can’t just stand to command things because you want them. You must pray the word.
Now prayer is communication with God; but prayer is effective when your ears can hear what your mouth is saying and your heart can agree to what you said.

When praying you ought to speak out until your ears can hear what your mouth is saying and your heart agrees. This is effective praying. If your ears can not hear what your mouth is saying, then you are likely to pray amiss.

Prayer must be vocal and word based. Prayer must come with both words and groaning.  May the Lord open heaven unto us. May He hear and answer your prayers. May God meet you at the point of your need as you try to speak and cry out to Him. May heavens answer your prayers in the name of Jesus Christ.
