“So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work” (Nehemiah 4:6 KJV)
There is nothing as frustrating as working with people who have not decided to work. Success at work is not in muscles but in the mind.
The Bible tells us that Nehemiah led a few feeble Jews to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem in 52 days. What was their secret? We know that God helped them, but why will God be interested in these people? Is it simply because they were His people? I think it goes beyond that. God helped them because they had a mind to work.
It’s always possible to do more when our minds are made up. We can win the world and convert nations to our God when we finally decide to work hard. The fields are white and the harvest is ripe. When we put the sickle to it, the fruits will fall to us.
I believe with all my heart that tomorrow will be better if we have the mind to work. The high barriers will become small when we decide to work hard. Even the world knows that where there is a will there is a way. We can do anything if we really want to.
The possibility is in our minds. The Strength of God resides in us. He is able to do all things when we resolve to do it. God works according to the power that is at work in us. A mind to work is the key to making it work anywhere.
From today, the opposing barriers are falling. The barriers are breaking because many of those barriers are in our minds. Once we break down the barriers in our minds, even the sky can’t be the limit. Unlimited power is made available when the mind has the right attitude.
I release your mind to work. I command fear to leave you now. I speak possibilities and willingness in your mind. May God be your helper! May you receive the backing of Heaven! May the Lord sustain His work in the midst of His people in the coming years!
