Glory to God! As we spend today in prayer and fasting, I desire by the Holy Spirit to exhort you on one of the most important keys that brings growth and bumper harvest: the rain of God.
“And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full” (Deuteronomy 11:13-15 KJV)
We need the supernatural rain upon our lives and fields if we want the bumper harvest of souls and miracles. We are spending today in the presence of God, asking for the release of the supernatural rain.
I pray for the stirring and activation of the;
- Conviction of the Holy Spirit,
- The leading of the Holy Spirit,
- The quickening of the Holy Spirit,
- The gifts of the Holy Spirit,
- The fruit of the Spirit, and
- The mighty manifestations of the Holy Spirit.
Today, may He rain upon us! May the sweet influence of the Holy Spirit be upon us!
We are aware that by the arm of flesh shall no man prevail. We receive the renewal and stirring of the Holy Spirit. May God rain in and on us. These are the days of power and glory. May the rain of the Holy Ghost fill us. May we swim in the floods of the Spirit until our visions and passions are heavenly.
From today onwards, may the workings of the Holy Ghost be active in your life. May the Holy Spirit convict us of sin and of righteousness, lead us in the will of God, quicken our mortal bodies, give us gifts, bear His fruit in us, and show mighty manifestations in our lives and ministry.
You shall not labour in the flesh fruitlessly anymore. Receive the fruitfulness of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit is the agent of growth. May our churches begin to grow from today!
How do we release this supernatural power for growth and increase?
By listening diligently
Deuteronomy 11:13 teaches that if we shall listen attentively, then He will come and rain upon us. As you spend time with tapes and videos; as you listen to the podcasts, He ministers the Spirit and miracles (Galatians 3:4-5). The prophet Ezekiel recounts how as the Lord spoke with him, His spirit entered into him (Ezekiel 2:1-2).
His doctrine distils as dew and rain (Deuteronomy 32:2). You must be ready to wait for the servant of God as for the early and later rain. You must desire the word of God from His servants as farmers wait for the rain (Job 29:23).
Love the Lord your God
The second key to the anointing that brings growth is loving God. The anointing is drawn by love. Your holy hunger for the things of God will open the flood gates of the supernatural. How deep is your love? How deep is your hunger for God? It is time to fall in love with God, withhold nothing from him.
Serve God with all of your heart
The anointing is for services. If we shall learn how to serve the Lord with all of the hearts, then He will come and rain upon us. Serving must be in Spirit and in truth. We must serve with all that we have if we are to tap into the anointing. Elisha became anointed through serving and pouring water on the hands of the prophet. David had to serve Saul for years. Samuel served Eli. The 12 serve the Lord. Serving the Lord is a secret to release the supernatural.
Pray for the rain
Zechariah 10:1 teaches us to ask for the rain; both the early and latter rain. “Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.” (Zechariah 10:1 KJV).
James 5:17 teaches that Elijah prayed for the rain and it rained. We must pray earnestly for the supernatural rain of God. I believe the heavens are opened and it is time to ask for rain. I hope you know that prayer goes with faith. Desire and believe for it. Let’s pray in faith for the supernatural manifestations of God.
Wait for it
The rain does not wait for anybody. If you want it, you must prepare and wait for it. James 5:7 tells us that the farmer that wants the precious fruits of the earth has long patience for the early and latter rain. In Luke 24:48-53, Jesus told the church to go and wait for the enduement with power. You must have the patience for the rain.
May the Lord send supernatural rain! May we experience the rain of the Spirit! May the Lord help us to wait for the gifts and grace of the Holy Ghost.
Let’s give hope, prayer, and encouragement below. Post a comment & let the discussion continue.
Stay blessed and fasted!
I love you.
