Your ground or your soil is the environment within which you work and operate. It comprises the sum total of all your micro and macro factors that work in concert to influence your life. The micro factors concern you internally as human being and the macro is the external factor. The micro factors include your spirit, soul, body, network, and work. These are things that influence you in the immediate. The macro factors comprise your political, cultural, social, demographical, geographical, economical factors. These are in the environment within which we operate.
For thus saith the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns (Jeremiah 4:3 KJV)
As we spend time in fasting and prayer today, we are arising to break up and uproot anything that could potentially stifle or hurt our fruitfulness. We are arising to break up the fallow grounds for greater yield and fruitfulness. Anything in your environment that comes to stifle fruitfulness must die out now. It is time to speak to the grounds to release greater yield. Every strange disease, strange persons, or strange things on your life must leave now! Every beast, or agents of darkness must be chased out of your field. You will never be put to shame. Our season is coming in which we shall be celebrated because of our faith. This is your day and now is your time. That is why we are fasting and praying. We are telling God that we cannot make it on our own.
Thus saith the Lord “say into the men of Judah…” I am speaking to the men now. From today as you break the fallow grounds, nobody can mock your Christ. The time has come for us to have proofs for the Christ we serve. There is a demand on you if you want commanding proofs in your life. You must break up your fallow grounds. It takes energy; you must be desperate for it and push earnestly.
How do you break up your fallow grounds?
You need the Holy Spirit:
We cannot break up our fallow grounds except by the Spirit. There are certain things you want to deal with but you lack the power. The Holy Spirit is the helper who can help you to deal with these beasts in your field. If the devil shall come in like a flood the Spirit will lift a standard against him.
“So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” (Isaiah 59:19 KJV)
The Holy Spirit is our greatest help against the onslaught of darkness.
Some things don’t go away but by fasting and prayer:
You can break up your fallow ground by fasting and prayer. To do this you must pray and allow God to uproot anything that hurts. Jabez prayed and uprooted the things that were limiting him.
“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” (1 Chronicles 4:10 KJV)
Nothing can beat fasting and prayer. That is the spiritual bulldozer. Nothing can stand fasting and prayer. When we fast and pray God answers.
“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” (Matthew 17:20-21 KJV)
Allow Jesus to be your shepherd or gardener:
He can dig and dung around you. Give Him one more year to tend and cultivate you. Give the Lord one year of undivided attention and commitment and see the extent of fruitfulness. As we meditate and pray, we are telling Him to dig around us, prune us, and dung us.
He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. (Luke 13:6-9 KJV)
Speak by faith to your mountain:
Even by faith as small as a mustard seed, any one of us can speak to mountains to move and they shall move (Matthew 17:20). As one man of God always says “a shut mouth is a shut destiny”. You must open your mouth and order the negative and wrong things out.
Allow light to enter in:
The entrance of His word brings light. The word brings light and the light drives out darkness. Thorns and briers will grow in your field if you do not have light. Light is profitable to direct. May the Lord heal our land by the word of His grace.
“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” (Psalm 119:130 KJV)
Honour the Lord with your tithes and offerings:
When we bring in the tithes and offerings the Lord rebukes every devourer and heals our land.
“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” (Malachi 3:10 KJV)
This is the time and we will break up the fallow grounds. We will not sow among thorns. Glory to God! We will break up our fallow grounds. Stay blessed and stay strong.
I love You!
Let’s give hope, prayer, and encouragement below. Post a comment & let the discussion continue.
