In these last days, God will shake the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land. He will shake the nations and the desire of all nations shall come.
“For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Haggai 2:6-9 KJV)
The Lord shall fill His house with glory. And the wealth of the nations shall be turned to the church. In the midst of this there are 3 things I am certain that God will do for us:
- He will pour out His spirit upon all flesh
- He will build His church, and
- Prepare His people for the second coming.
You know that the end of all things is at hand and Jesus is coming again. He is coming for a church prepared as a bride for a groom. He is coming for a people prepared for their God. He is coming to redeem and save us from eternal destruction. We are living in the latter times of the last days. We can only believe for greater things. God will begin His Work in you. Many of us will do things that will beat the imagination of men.
God will not just shake the heavens and earth and sea and dry land, He shall also fill His house with glory.
1. Pouring out the Holy Spirit upon all flesh:
We are literally living in the days of the supernatural. God is committed to anointing His church for supernatural exploits. God is preparing a generation of mighty men to advance the cause of the kingdom. The Bible tells us in Joel 2:28 that after these things God will pour out His spirit upon all flesh. The active presence of the Holy Spirit in our community is one of the most important things to God. God wants His Spirit to dwell in the communities where we live. We must be hungry for the outpouring for supernatural impact.
2. Building of the church:
God is committed to building His church that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The church is God’s agency to withstand the onslaught of evil. Hell may rise but the church will stand robust against it. The church commands divine presence, that is why we are committed to church planting and growth. We are not begging God, He promised to do it, and we can only expect it. We can expect Him to build us into a spiritual house.
3. Preparing the body for the second coming:
God is preparing us for the second coming of Christ. He will purge the church and gather His children as a hen will gather her chicks under her wings. God is at it. He is preparing us for the end-time harvest of souls. He will send wealth, power, influence. He will empower us to withstand even in an evil day.
We will not fail. We will experience the grace and the mercy of God. God will anoint us, build, and prepare us for His Work and second coming. As we keep serving the Lord, bringing our sacrifices of praise, honouring our financial obligations; He would prepare us. He would work on us.
