Separation: Come out from among them. Separation and holiness are the master keys to step into God’s plan. This is the second step to the next level of your life.
“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” (Genesis 12:1-3 KJV)
You cannot sit at the same place and do the same things and expect different results. This is the time to show where you stand. You are either standing with the Lord or on your own. The choice is yours this day, who will you serve. God told Abraham to come out and be separated. God is calling you also to come out of your old places to a place He will show you. God called Lot out of Sodom and Gomorrah; because if you keep staying there, you will perish with the rest.
If you sit among them, you will suffer what they suffer and end up as one of them.
Very early in life, when I learned that God had a perfect plan for my life, I left where I sat. I can’t imagine you sitting at the same place doing the same things and expecting things to turn out differently. If you want your life to turn out differently then get up and step out of the crowd. God told Abraham to come out.
Don’t sit in the seat of the scornful not stand in the way of sinners. You must come out from among them and you will be received as a child.
(2 Corinthians 6:14-18 KJV) “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”
You cannot mix with the world and think that your life will turn out differently. Come out from among them and you will excel. Step out from the crowd.
I grew in a community that looked down on education, thank God that I thought differently. I was so determined to go to school and graduate that I paid attention to my books. You can also excel and rise.
