“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. (11) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (14) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; (15) And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; (16) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. (17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: (18) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (19) And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,” (Ephesians 6:10-19 KJV)
We know that there are four evil forces that are trying to stop us from advancing to our next level. In this session we shall learn how to deal with these evil powers that rule the world.
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might:
This is the first secret to combat and prevail against the four(4) evil forces of darkness. These are forces wrestling and determined to keep you from advancing in life. Build up yourself on you most holy faith through devotion, bible study, fellowship and personal separation.
Put on the whole armour of God:
The whole armour of God comprises of the helmets of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the preparation of the gospel of peace for your feet. You can effectively combat and win over these four(4) evil forces that are trying to keep you from advancing into the realm of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, when you are saved, walk as the righteousness of God, hold on to truth, and join the chariot for soul winning. Above all take the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit. Faith and sound knowledge of the word of God are two of the most effective weapons against the enemy. Faith to quench his fiery darts and the word of God to ward him off. When our Lord faced the devil in the wilderness He overcame by His knowledge of the word of God.
Take a stand to withstand even in the evil day:
You must resolve to withstand and resist every evil. You must withstand and resist the devil. No retreat, no surrender. We must press on by faith and steadfastness. Press on and win.
Watch and pray for all the saints with perseverance with all kinds of prayers:
In these last days, there is no way we can survive the aggression of darkness without watching and praying. You must always be vigilant or else you will be swept off your feet. The devil is roaring like a lion, seeking whom he may devour; we must resist him steadfastly in the faith and in prayers.
