How to Stay Happy with Your Resolutions

How to Stay Happy with Your Resolutions

[Proverbs 29:18 KJV] “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

One of the greatest secrets to greater and safer impact is having a clear and resolute purpose. Every one of us must have a resolution or vision with which we are trying to run, but it is not enough to know your purpose and decide to run with it; you must also be happy running with that purpose.

Daniel lived in a pagan and polytheistic society. He lived and served three pagan kings yet he was blameless and innocent as far as his faith was concerned. How did this great man of God, like Joseph, stay happy with his resolution and keep them? How can you also keep your resolution and find the peace and joy that the kingdom promises?

1. Set Smart Goals:

Know what must be done and when to do it. Have an instinct for prosperity (increase and excellence)

2. Take it a Day At a Time:

Break up your goals into little attainable steps.

3. Pray and Ask For God’s Help:

You cannot attain these goals by flesh and blood. You must pray for God to help you and you will win.

4. Focus on Doing The Right Things:

You will be changed into what you focus on so instead of focusing on not doing the wrong things, rather focus on the right things that you want to do. If you are trusting God to break a harmful or sinful habit, focus on what you must do.

5. Celebrate Every Step of Success:

You will win a little step at a time. You will surely see changes in level.

6. Focus on How Far You Have Come:

Don’t worry about how much is left to be done, focus on how far you have come.

7. Mind The Same Things That Brought You Progress:

Don’t forsake anything that has brought you significant progress in life.

God bless you, and may you see change as you press on to the future of greatness! I know you will make it and be happy that you excelled.

I love you.
