Many years ago, our Lord Jesus taught through a parable that compared the kingdom to a master who gave talents to his servants and traveled to a far country.
The master returned and demanded accountability. We learn that all but one of the servants accounted and showed profit, the lord described this man as wicked and lazy.
Wicked and lazy servants cause financial loss to their masters. These are those who sleep on the job. These are those who do not give their all to the responsibilities assigned to them.
If you really want to gather enough, then do not entertain wicked stewards. If the people you engage are wicked and/or lazy, you can not gather enough. Do not waste your time on unfaithful stewards. You must entrust important things to trustworthy people.
You will advance faster and prosper if you engage faithful people. The hand of the diligent makes fat and brings prosperity (Proverbs 10:40) Let us strive for diligence and faithfulness. Let each one of us walk in diligence. Press on and don’t make room for laziness.
If you trust wicked and unfaithful people with your values, I will be surprised at you. Be firm and demand diligence. The Lord will favour you. The Lord will bless the diligent and promote them to the next level.
