Rising into the Newness of Life

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.” (Romans 6:1‭-‬6 KJV)

A few years ago, the Lord led us to pioneer a church which is spreading across our city. In the delivery of the mandate, the Lord assured us that through this mission men and women from all walks of life shall arise into a new way of living and rise into the newness of life.

God has provided a new and living way by which we arise into a new life. The faith is a spiritual journey and many of the things we do are spiritual.

Every man anywhere can rise into a new life. Any man anywhere can be free from  the burden of sin and walk in a new and living way by simply being baptised.

Baptism is a spiritual initiation into the newness of life in Christ. The very process that leads to immersion in water requires that the candidate is taught and led to receive the gift of God in Christ Jesus.

The Bible tells us that if we are baptised in water into Christ, then we rise with Him into a new life. The word also says if we have been planted in the likeness of His death; we shall also be the likeness of His resurrection. “For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:” (Romans 6:5)

I exhort you today to get baptised and rise into the likeness of Christ in His resurrection. Baptism is very important. Every man must be baptised into Christ. Speak to your pastor. Request for baptism like the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-40)

Don’t wait for another day. Get baptised today and rise into the newness of life. You can experience the life of Christ and live above sin.

May the chains of sin that bind you be broken! May you never serve sin again! May you receive the touch of the super natural!
