The Holy Spirit is a leading Spirit, He speaks, shows things, and confirm things. He is given as our helper to help us journey through this dark, horrible world. He is a leading spirit. He is given to lead and guide us. We must decide to let Him lead us.
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” (Romans 8:14 KJV)
The Bible tells us that “as many as are led by the Spirit of the Lord, they are the sons of God.” If sons then the heirs of all things. We can then say that “as many as are led by the spirit of the Lord, they are the heirs of all things.” As you allow the Spirit of the Lord to lead you, He will lead you into fat and prospered places.
I exhort you to be led by the Holy Spirit. Be led by the Spirit of God. That is what makes you a child of God, and qualifies you for the blessing. Those that are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. Isaiah 1:19 says “if we are willing and obedient, we shall eat the good of the land”. The good of the land goes to those who are willing and obedient. Don’t rebel, be led and follow, and you will eat the good of the Land.
How can you be led?
Decide to be yielded to the Spirit’s leading.
Many of us are not yielded. We are stiff-necked and the Spirit does not strive with men anymore. Many years ago, the Lord made that declaration. If you do not decide and yield, you can not be led.
“And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” (Genesis 6:3 KJV)
The Spirit of God does not strive with men anymore. That is why we are saved by grace through faith. You must believe and confess the lordship of Christ if you can be led by the Holy Spirit. You must accept to be led by the Spirit of God.
Crucify the flesh:
“And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” (Galatians 5:25-26 KJV) If you obey the flesh, you can not follow the Spirit of God. You must be willing to crucify the flesh with its affections and the lust.
Don’t be desirous of vain glory:
We can not be led by the Spirit of God if we are desirous of vain glory and are living our lives just to provoke others to envy. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. (Galatians 5:25-26 KJV)
Know and recognise the voice of the Spirit of God:
The Holy Spirit does not speak of His own. To able to determine whether what you are hearing is from the Spirit of God, it must;
- Accord with godliness
- Glorify Christ
- Agree with the Word of God
- Bear the fruit of the Spirit
Pray and wait for grace to obey:
The Spirit of God is an enabler. Whenever He speaks, He shows up to give the grace to discharge what He has said. (Luke 24:46-49)
I pray that as you are led by the Spirit of God, your life will prosper. You will possess your inheritance as a child of God. He will anoint and lead you to discover fatness and riches.
