“Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer. (5) Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not. (6) I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.” (Psalms 17:4-6 KJV)
There is always a destroyer lying in wait and roaming seeking whom he might devour. This destroyer is seeking for an opportunity to enter in and destroy your gain.
You can keep him out and keep yourself from falling into his snare by;
Keeping the word on the lips of God:
Many fall into the snare of the fowler because they have rebelled against the word of God. When you rebel against the word of God on the lips of God. You give the destroyer access to your life through carelessness. But when you keep the word of God, He guides and keeps you in safety.
Pleading the blood:
The absence of the blood gives the destroyer access to your life. When you activate the voice of the blood in your life and ministry, you keep the destroyer out. The bible says “For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.” (Exodus 12:23 KJV)
Taming your tongue:
Don’t murmur, speak faith and be grateful. The Bible tells us that “Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.” (1 Corinthians 10:10 KJV)
You can and must keep the destroyer out! Don’t allow him to destroy your increase. You will prosper and advance. You will keep the destroyer out in the name of Jesus Christ!
