“And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. (13) If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; (14) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
(15) Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. (16) For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.” (2 Chronicles 7:12-16 KJV)
There is hope for a child of God even in hopeless situations. That hope is in God through the force of prayer. Prayer moves God, if there is any one thing that can move God it’s prayer. Inasmuch as faith is the key to connecting and opening Heaven, prayer is the force that turns the key.
We can teach all that we want and talk all we want but it still takes prayer to move the hand of God.
Until we arise to pray, there is very little we can achieve. A church that prays leads the way of the revival. We must pray and bear the touch of revival.
- Prayer moves God
- Prayer shakes nations and kingdoms
- Prayer turns things around
- Prayer delivers answers
- Prayer births revelation
Five attitudes that makes prayer effective are:
1. Holiness:
Called by the name of the Lord
2. Humility:
Humility is actually faith and submission, and yieldedness. In prayer, we must be yielded to God . We must throw ourselves on Him being aware that there is nowhere we can turn to. God is our only and last hope.
3. Prayer:
To pray is to adore and petition God. But beyond prayer, we must seek the face of God.
4. Seeking God’s face:
We must come before Him waiting to receive. He is ready to bless; come expecting to receive His blessing.
5. Repentance:
The last attitude that delivers answers to prayer is repentance. May we turn from our wicked ways and may Heaven be open to us. As you read this, you are catching the spirit of prayer that turns things around.
Stay blessed; I love you
