Three things that make your christian practice beautiful are:
- To bridle your tongue
- Visit the fatherless and widows in their afflictions
- To keep yourself unspotted from the world
Most un-churched people are not discerning enough to see and understand your practice of faith. These three things are the outward reflections of your internal dynamics. This is what the world can see and how they can acknowledge your faith.
You will make greater impact if you learn to bridle your tongue. The tongue is poisonous; taming the tongue saves you. Your tongue will direct your life; master it. Align your tongue to the Word of God and your life will be aligned.
Your ministry to the fatherless and widows is your ministry to God. It is an investment worth your attention. God cares about the fatherless and wisdows; any ministry to them touches the heart of God.
Finally, keeping yourself unspotted from the world will save you a great deal. Children of God must not be stained with the world. May the Lord help you to keep your garments unstained.
