Many of us are worrying about many useless things. We have lost our peace and sleep to things that don’t matter. Only one thing matters “If God be for us, who can be against us?” Who can deny us a thing? Who shall lay a thing to our charge? “Who can separate us from the love of God.”
Though it may appear as though we are as sheep for the slaughter, and are so counted, we are actually more than conquerors through Him that loved us. His banner over us is love and in that love, we are more than conquerors.
Stop worrying about enemies and witches, and wizards and principalities, and concern yourself about how to get the Lord on your side. There are three simple steps to aligning with God and having Him on your side;
- Love the lord
- Live according to His purpose
- Be conformed to the image of His dear Son
That is all. Nothing more, nothing less.
Indeed, if God be for us;
Who can be against us? They may try in so many ways but will not prevail because God is for us. If God is for us, we will always win. His love is unfailing. The enemy will try but he will fail because God is for us.
Who can deny us a thing? If He denied not His son, what is too difficult for Him to give?
Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? There is only one man who condemns, and that is Christ, who died and rose again and is making intercessions for us. If God be for us no man or prophet or wizard can even curse us. Balaam tried but failed (See Numbers 22-24).
Who shall separate us from the love of God? Many of us worry too much about enemies, witches, principalities and powers; please we are persuaded that if God be for us nothing, nobody, no power can be against us. If there is anything to worry about; it is rather how to get God on our side. As a matter of truth, nothing; whether things present or things to come can separate us from the love of God. God’s love is all that we need.
