I want to share with you on breaking the cycle of miscarried relationships. By miscarried relationship I mean people who move from one date or courtship or relationship to the other without ever getting married. Many young people are now just dating and fornicating all in the name of studying each other for marriage.
Please there is nothing like studying each other for marriage.
Dating or courting is all about discovering for yourself whether or not your prospective wife or husband is indeed who they appear and claim to be. Many young Christians misunderstand this whole concept and treat a date or courting as ‘marriage rehearsals.” Please to date or court is not a rehearsal for marriage; it’s rather a fact finding mission.
The simple secret to stay safe in this dark, wicked and crooked generation is to tell yourself that what you need is marriage and not a date or a boyfriend or girlfriend. Many crooked people are using the bait of ‘I want to marry you’ to fool and defraud others in the church. You can stay safe by going for marriage and not a date, not a promise to marry, and not just a marriage proposal.
I am not in any way suggesting that you should not date or court before marriage, but don’t be fooled into taking an invitation to treat as a covenant. Do not be busy looking for a boyfriend and becoming somebody’s girlfriend, instead go for marriage.
Be preparing, keep preparing and stay ready. In any case, don’t hastily jump into bed or to the altar; things are not the same anymore. Don’t ever cheapen yourself. You are a princess, put value on yourself. You can not let anyone fool you. Wake up and live a life of power. Don’t let lust ruin your life.
