“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.” (2 Corinthians 5:10-11 KJV)
Indeed, we shall all appear before the judgement seat of Christ; and I have two main concerns: firstly, to appear before the Lord, and then to have works to show that I kept the faith while He was away.
Indeed, you are my works and I need you to stand the test of fire when you are tried. I pray that when we àrrive before Christ Jesus, you will be counted worthy that I may not have run in vain. The Bible tells us that everyman’s works shall be tried with fire. We shall face Christ and be judged.
Knowing the terror of the Lord we persuade you today to live in a pleasing way to the Lord. May the Lord help you. May He bless you. May you run and run well. You are my works, my crown and glory. Receive grace and may you not fail, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
