“And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the Lord anointed thee king over Israel?” (1 Samuel 15:17 KJV)
I want to teach you about success by looking at the life of a man who failed. King Saul became king over a great nation because God called and equipped him to occupy such an office. Indeed in every family and generation, God takes men and women and gives them the torch of hope and prosperity. I believe you are one of such men or women.
Saul was lifted up at a time when Israel thought they needed a king. You are called and equipped to meet a need. God is preparing you to lead the way and to serve His purpose. Remember, you are being raised and helped now because of a people who are forgotten.
Remember, “it is appointed unto man once to die and after death judgment.” Each one of us will give an account of how he lived his life. It is time to discover the purpose for which God is blessing us. Remember that Saul danced with destiny; a destiny he was not born for. He was not born to be king, he stumbled to the throne. Many of us have stumbled to things we were not born for, you will succeed if you keep dancing with the way makers that God sends into your life.
Simple steps to keep dancing with destiny are;
Be liberated:
Be liberated in your mind, spirit and soul; until you are liberated from the things that tie you down, you may not be able to fully manifest as God destined you to be. God has many ways of liberating us, sometimes it is through a loss, gain, rejection, admiration etc. Saul was liberated to be useful for the purposes of God. Separation is painful but it is one of the major ways to prepare you for impact.
May the Lord break the chains that hold you bound! You will be liberated from the chains that tie you! Nothing can hold you down; you will be liberated to fulfill your destiny.
Be anointed:
Saul was anointed to be king. Without the anointing, your life will be a struggle. Without the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the fullness of God in your life; you cannot dance with destiny. Everyman is limited in how far he can make impact. The anointing of the Holy Spirit makes a great difference; the anointing will teach, reveal, show, guide, lead, give utterances and lift standards against all satanic powers.
Saul was anointed to be king. It takes more than prophecy to make impact. You must be anointed. The anointing will lift you as you dance with your way maker. All Saul needed to do to stay at the top was to keep listening to Samuel.
Flow like a river; get going!
Every river has one mission and focus; to flow into the sea. Every one of us must have one mission; to enter into life. We must work to serve the purposes of God, to enter the into kingdom of God ourselves and also bring in as many people as it is possible, given the resources at our disposal. You should emulate the following characteristics of a river;
- Rivers have goals and direction
- Rivers connect and interconnect to get to their goals
- Rivers strategise their flow; they don’t hesitate to use contigency.
- Rivers start from where they are
- Rivers forget the things that are behind and press on towards the mark
It’s time to dance with destiny and you will not fail.
Stay blessed, I love you
