We have been exploring the mystery of fruitfulness lately, and I can assure you that one of the greatest mysteries to bearing much fruit in life is abiding in Christ and Christ abiding in you. Indeed without Him, we can do nothing.
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:5 KJV)
To abide in Christ is not an option or a consideration, it is the only way. You either abide in Him and bring forth more fruits or disconnect from Him and wither. His words are clear and straightforward; He that abides in me shall bring forth much fruit. Indeed, without Christ, you can do nothing. Those who stay and abide in Him shall bring forth much fruit.
Any feeling to be independent is caused by a spirit of barrenness because your connection to Him is the secret to much fruit. Those who connect more strongly bear much fruit. I exhort you to strengthen the quality of your connection. Don’t allow anything to disconnect you from the vine. Christianity is a relationship and fellowship. The more we relate and fellowship with Him, the greater our chances of being more fruitful in the ideas and concepts that we receive.
There is no middle ground; you either stay connected or wither. This is the secret to supernatural and increased fruitfulness. This is an important revelation you cannot joke with. May the Lord help us to stay connected to the vine who is Christ. Beloved this is not just a matter of being part of a church; beyond your church membership, you must have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
I pray for you that as you stay in the word and allow the Word of God to dwell in you richly, your profiting shall appear to all men. You will be more fruitful if you continue in prayer, quiet time and fellowship with one another. You will never be without fruits. You will bear more and more fruits if only you will continue in Christ and allow His word to continue in you.
