There is a Gift in You that must Bless the World Around You

You are blessed and gifted to bless the world around you. You cannot die with the music still inside you. Your gift must make room for you and bring you before great men. If your gift can deliver results and bless the world;

You must discover and wait on it: 1 Peter 4:10-11 classifies our gifts and grace into two (2); the gift of speaking and that of ministering. 1 Corinthians 12:1 onwards teaches us about nine manifestations of the Spirit that can be in you. Romans 12:1-7 reveals 7 gifts that may be found in people who may be appointed over a business. It is important to look into your own life to see whether you have any skills or endowments that can perfect the saints, be useful for the work of ministry, or for the edifying of the body of Christ (See Ephesians 4:10-16)

Work with integrity, the Holy Ghost, wisdom, and responsibility: Acts 6:1-3 teaches that people full of the Holy Ghost, wisdom, integrity and responsibility serve better and serve well with their gifts. It doesn’t matter how big your grace or gift is, integrity, wisdom, and responsibility makes all the difference.

Know that every gift works better with understanding, teamwork, and sacrifice: Matthew 5:14-16 teaches that no man lights a candle and puts it under a bushel; your gifts work better with understanding and teamwork, and a sense of sacrifice. People who are willing to sacrifice themselves for the comfort of others make a greater impact and bless their world in a better way. Go labour on; spend and be spent, that is the way the master went.

Know that every gift works best in an atmosphere of recognition and acceptance: Quit trying to impress people who don’t recognise and accept your gift. You will only end up hurting yourself. In Mark  6:1 downwards, we see how the Lord Jesus not could do mighty works in His hometown, because of their unbelief. They could not accept such extraordinary gift working among them. Your gift will deliver results among people who recognise and accept it. We see in Genesis 41:37 how the gift of Joseph began to impact Egypt because the Pharaoh recognised and accepted his wisdom as from God. Do you remember Ahithophel? All the days he served under David, Israel recognised his wisdom as that of angels. His gift blessed Israel because the king recognised and accepted his counsel until he defected to follow the rebel, Absalom. Your gift will manifest best in an atmosphere of recognition and acceptance.

The person standing close to you may be nobody today, but there is a gift in him or her that must bless the world around them so that they can be blessed in return. When your gift begins to bless the world, the world and the Lord will begin to bless you.
