Your Tongue Can Mess or Fix Your Life!

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;” (Mark 16:17 KJV)

One of the five indespensable signs of faith is speaking with a new tongue. This is one of the major signs that God wants to see in your life. People of faith speak differently. This is a very important weapon of faith because the Bible teaches that if a man does not err in word, the same is perfect. You tongue can poison your life and open it up to a hoard of demons. Many destinies have been destroyed because of the tongue.

Any man who can bridle his tongue can hold his life together. Your tongue is a beast, tame it.

“For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.”

The tongue has no bone in it but it is deadly. The human tongue is more deadly than snake bite. I pray that you will tame your tongue. The human tongue can set the whole course of nature on fire. The tongue has defiled many and can defile many more. I pray that you will tame your tongue.

“Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell”

The scriptures teach that the tongue is unruly and not easily tamed. The tongue is full of deadly poison but you will speak with a new tongue. May you never allow your tongue to speak and go overboard. The tongue is deadly; bridle it and be in charge.

“For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.” (James 3:2‭-‬8 KJV)

Five simple keys to speak with a new tongue are;

1. Observe the morning watch: Isaiah 50:4 teaches that the Lord awakens the ears of some to hear knowledge. Those who observe the morning watch hear the speech of the day and the knowledge of the night. (Psalm 19)

2. Bridle your tongue: determine to bless only and never insult or curse. When you are upset be careful how your tongue reacts. Indeed wisdom from above is easily appeased.
