"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers." (Ephesians 4:29 KJV) Interpersonal communication is one of the key factors to build and preserve the beauty and sanctity of interpersonal relationships. Learning how to speak to one another is an important skill that helps you to preserve and save your relationships. The Scriptures tell us that "if a man err not in word, the same is perfect". We must learn to minister edification. All of us must develop the skill and grace to speak well to our fellow men and women. Simple tips to a good interpersonal relationship are; 1. Start every conversation on a positive note: Try your best to start your conversations on positive note. Always start with an honest compliment. "I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven; Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonished for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My Lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies". (Daniel 4:13‭, ‬19 KJV) 2. Watch you body language: Your actions and body language matters a lot. Most often what you don't say sounds more louder than what you are saying. 3. Keep a pleasant expression: As you relate with people, your spouse or your friends, speak to raise people. Don't beat people down; raise people up as you speak. Speak with a smile, with love and affection. Say things that would heal and build them up. 4. Speak in love: Don't speak except you are motivated by love. Don't speak when you are angry, upset or offended. Speak in love and affection. If you speak out of anger, the devil will use and capitalise on your words to break the spirit and emotions of those who love you. Stay bless; I love you.

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” (Ephesians 4:29 KJV)

Interpersonal communication is one of the key factors to build and preserve the beauty and sanctity of interpersonal relationships. Learning how to speak to one another is an important skill that helps you to preserve and save your relationships. The Scriptures tell us that “if a man err not in word, the same is perfect”. We must learn to minister edification. All of us must develop the skill and grace to speak well to our fellow men and women.

Simple tips to a good interpersonal relationship are;

1. Start every conversation on a positive note:

Try your best to start your conversations on positive note. Always start with an honest compliment. “I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven; Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonished for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My Lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies”. (Daniel 4:13‭, ‬19 KJV)

2. Watch you body language:

Your actions and body language matters a lot. Most often what you don’t say sounds more louder than what you are saying.

3. Keep a pleasant expression:

As you relate with people, your spouse or your friends, speak to raise people. Don’t beat people down; raise people up as you speak. Speak with a smile, with love and affection. Say things that would heal and build them up.

4. Speak in love:

Don’t speak except you are motivated by love. Don’t speak when you are angry, upset or offended. Speak in love and affection. If you speak out of anger, the devil will use and capitalise on your words to break the spirit and emotions of those who love you.

Stay bless; I love you.
