What Do You Mean When You Say I love You!

“Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them.” (Ephesians 5:1‭-‬7 KJV)

Today, I want to talk about walking in love. I want to teach on this subject to ensure that you don’t become stupid and think you are walking in love. The Bible teaches us to walk in love as Christ did, not as the gentiles do.

When Jesus said I love you, He gave himself as an offering to build a bridge to take you higher.

When the gentiles say I love you; they mean let’s fornicate and go to hell. Often when we talk about love among carnal people, the men are focussed on the panties and vagina, and the women are focussed on the wallet.

Fornication, uncleanness, covetousness, filthiness, foolish talk, inconvenient jesting and prostitution are the greatest mockery of love.

Let no man deceive you with vain words; love is not sex and sex is not love. Let no man deceive you with vain words; walking in love includes giving yourself as àn offering and sacrifice of sweet smelling savour to God.

Unfortunately, love is so distorted in the world around us that all that many people expect after saying I love you, is sex, give me money, and foolish talk. Oh my God!

Take note of the following truths about true love;

Genuine love makes allowance for mistakes and faults.

Even when you want to correct;

1. Don’t make a big deal out of mistakes
2. Deal with people in private
3. Do your best to protect people’s dignity

Genuine love sees the best in people:

God sees the best in us. He gave the best He has, in order to purchase us from the slave market, all because He sees the best in us.

Genuine love gives its best to make others better:

He died in our place that we might live. Love builds.

Love is not sex; love is not coveteousness; love has dignity.
