Simon, I’ve prayed for you in particular that you not give in or give out. When you have come through the time of testing, turn to your companions and give them a fresh start.”

Peter said, “Master, I’m ready for anything with you. I’d go to jail for you. I’d die for you!” Jesus said, “I’m sorry to have to tell you this, Peter, but before the rooster crows you will have three times denied that you know me.”

The devil is smart and most of the times smarter than most children of God.

He is always shooting and trying to separate us from the substance that holds us together. His main focus is for your faith to fail. All of the testing and trial is meant for you and me to give in and give out. He wants your faith to fail, but you can make it through interceding for one another.

It’s important to remember that in every relationship, there is the stronger one on whom all others derive their strength. In this case, it’s the shepherd; the sheep look up to him. Leadership and vision are the pivots around which the development of any community revolves. Loyalty and sacrifice and skills are the force and strength on which this development runs.

Your success depends on our connectedness.

We are members one of another. You belong to me and I belong to you. Once we stick together, we win easily.

You must be converted whenever you fail and fall from grace.

Determine to press on and on with the Lord. Your mind must be made up; your face set as a flint; marching on gallantly to win the crown. No matter what, never fall back or fall off.
