(Galatians 5:1 KJV)
This is the time to stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ Jesus have set us free. The lord wants us to guard our liberty so jealously and not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Once we have been liberated, we must strive to maintain that liberty. You must not be entangled again in the yoke of bondage.
If we are to stand in the liberty wherewith Jesus Christ has set us free, we need four things:
Grace:
Trust in nothing but on the grace of God through Jesus Christ. Grace will set you apart from the things that hurt others. We are saved by grace. Grace teaches us to set separated. Grace exempts us from calamity. (Gal 5:4)
The Spirit:
By the Spirit we hope in righteousness by faith. The Spirit helps us to believe in righteousness which is by faith. (Gal 5:5, 16)
Love:
Faith works by love. Faith which is the foundation and pivot to our victory in life works by faith. Galatians 5:6, 13-15 teaches that if we bite each other, we will devour each other. Without love we will devour each other.
The cross:
We all need the cross effect in our lives to keep us liberated. The cross will cancel curses and handwritings that are against us. The cross saves and liberates even the worst sinner. (Galatians 5:11)
This is the time to stand and stand fast in the liberty wherein we have been set free. We can not be bound again! We won’t allow it! We are ready and willing to stand fast in the liberty. Don’t allow any one to bewitch or hinder you.
