“And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.” (Mark 4:26‭-‬29 KJV)

One of the primary purposes of our calling is to bear fruits that remain; we have not chosen Christ; He has chosen us. He has chosen us to bear fruits and that our fruits must remain.

God has called us to bear the fruits of godliness; He has chosen us to bear the fruits of His kind. He has called us that we might be like His son Jesus Christ and to show forth His praise. Our conduct in public and private must reflect godliness.

God has called to win others like us to the faith. People would be more willing to subscribe and patronise a product if someone they know and can trust introduces them to that product. God will be able to save your family and friends when you to share your faith with them. God will be able to save and empower our communities if we share our faith with. We are chosen to bear fruits that would remain. As we step out to share our faith, we are empowered by God to save the community.

Roman 1:16 teaches that the gospel is the power of God to save. The message of the cross is the only message that can save our dying world. The message of the cross is supernatural; it changes and saves to the uttermost. The Lord shall save as we preach. I can’t explain exactly how it happens but the message of the cross transforms and changes our hearers.

One of the truths that must sink deep down as you attempt to bear fruits that remains is that bearing fruits takes processes and time. It will not happen by magic, nor will it happen overnight, but as you keep sowing and nurturing the seed with an honest and good heart, growth and fruits come. We may not know how the transformation happens but we know that as we keep faith and work on the plantings, growth would come.

This is the time and the process of double has just began. The Lord shall bless your effort; just be faithful to the cycle of growth and fruitfulness:

Believe: To them that believe; to them he gave power to become the sons of God. Faith empowers and makes fruitful.

Be baptised: In water, the Holy Spirit and in fire. Allow the Holy Spirit to have His way. Pray and ask Him to have His way. He will bring fruitfulness as He saturates your life.

Be added: The church is the body of Christ, the garden and building of the Lord (1 Corinthians 3:6-10). As you become part of the church you enjoy the roots and fatness of the Lord (Romans 11:17)

Continue steadfastly: In prayer, fellowship and doctrine. As you continue with us, you become fruitful and you grow and transform.

Prayer for Today

Dear Father,

Outpouring All Night Service
ADVERTISEMENT

I thank You for the gift of life. I pray that You will help me today to find the joy, peace and ability to continue in nurturing the seed of faith in my heart.

Deliver me from evil; take pain and calamity far from me; hold me in the hollow of your hand and keep me from things that hurt.

Thank you Lord in Jesus name. Amen!

Stay blessed; I love you!
