“And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” (Acts 2:44‭-‬47 KJV)

There is a culture that grows what we are building; this is the culture of living in oneness, giving, and serving. Nothing works together to the good of the church than a healthy brotherhood. The early brethren lived, gave, and served for the common good of the brotherhood.

The Scriptures tell us that those who believed were together. If you want to grow your business and your church, don’t allow anyone on your team who does not believe in the ideals of the group. You must have a common faith and uphold the same values. If you really want the church to grow, then we must forge for common goals. You must press for a common vision and purpose.

Live

The Scriptures tell us that they that believed were together. They lived together, they stayed together, they were connected together. They were together. We must also learn to be together. We must love the brethren; treat the younger women as sisters with all purity; the older women as mothers; the younger men as brothers and older men as fathers. The bond of peace in the unity of the Spirit is so so important.

Give

They were not just together but they gave. Their attitude towards giving was one of a kind. They gave within their means and even above their capacity. They gave and even sold lands and gave the money to the church. Many of us are poor and seem not to find financial increase because of our attitude towards giving to the work of God and to the brotherhood. We know that God loves a cheerful giver; so if we give the leftovers to God, He will give us the leftovers.

Serve

They also served. They served each other with the gifts and graces God had given them. They served and we must serve. We must serve the Lord and serve the brotherhood. We must serve and serve and serve. This is the will of God.

To live, give, and serve for the common good of the brotherhood is the single most important secret to greatness, fruitfulness, and increase. As they lived, gave, and served; the Lord added unto them such as are being saved. You will be blessed and see increase when you learn to live, give and serve.

Stay blessed; I love you!
