[Isaiah 58:6-14 KJV] “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rearward.
Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:
And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord , honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord ; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it”.
In this week of victory, we are believing God to win over setback. We are breaking free from anything that holds us back and holds us down. The will of God for our lives is to see progress and advance in the things we do. God wants us to overcome setback and bring forth fruits that remain.
The gardener is willing and ready to dig around us; the gardener is ready to dung us. He is willing and ready to give us everything and every care that we need in order to bear fruits. On this day in this week, may the Lord give us victory over every setback. Recieve divine speed! Recieve divine acceleration! May the Lord help you to win!
When you start winning over setback:
Your light will break forth as the morning: That is to say that your influence shall be felt and be needed as the morning sunrise. You will begin to experience unexpected breakthroughs. You will rise from the pieces of brokenness and darkness. Your light shall arise from obscurity. You shall not know darkness and gloom anymore, in the name of Jesus!
Your health shall spring forth speedily: You will not know a sick bed. You shall recover quickly from infirmity. May the Lord save each one of us from ill-health. Sickness and disease are major setbacks in life, hence may the Lord give you victory over ill-health!
Your righteousness shall go before you and the glory of God shall be your rereward: People shall not pay you evil for the good you do for them. Your righteousness shall go before you and open great doors unto you.
The Lord shall satisfy you in drought, your bones shall be made fat and you shall be as a watered garden: You will know supernatural supply. You shall not eat your bread in scarcity. You shall be satisfied early.
When you win over setback, even those who connect with you, shall become builders and repairers: Those who associate with you shall build and repair old breaches. Things that has never been done for ages shall become possible with them.
The simple secrets to win over setback are:
Engage with compassion: Loose the bands of wickedness; undo the heavy burden, don’t overwork your labourers; feed the hungry; cloth the naked; shelter the homeless; help your family, take care of you own. You cannot obtain mercy from God; when you are not showing compassion. Withhold not good from them to whom it is due when it is in your power to do so.
If you really want to win over setback, then;
- Undo the heavy burdens
- Don’t over work your labourers
- Feed the hungry
- Cloth the naked
- Shelter the homeless
- Take care of your own
Call the Sabbath a delight and keep it holy: Isaiah 58:13 teaches this clearly. Those who call the Sabbath a delight, honour the Lord on the Sabbath. They do not walk in their own ways, neither do they find their own pleasure. They find and do the pleasure of the Lord. Moreover, they do not speak their own words.
If you truely want to win over set back then;
- Learn to honour the Lord by honouring His servants and His fellowship.
- Learn to seek and to do the pleasure of the Lord. Do the things that bring pleasure to God. Noah built an altar and offered sacrifuces upon it and God smelled it and blessed him.
- Learn to speak the right things; speak the word and speak positively. Speak by faith.
The next secret is to delight your self in the Lord: Those who win over setback delight themselves in the Lord.
You delight yourself in the Lord by;
- Speaking to Him with joy and boldness
- Offering Him the fruits of your lip; which is praise
- Celebrating in His presence
I speak to you that as we wait on God in this season, we shall win over setback and stagnation.
Stay blessed! I love you.
