[Judges 6:1, 6 KJV] “And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord : and the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years. [6] And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the Lord”.
Many of the times, many of us are unable to realise our full potential because of the presence of an evil hand operating in our lives. Israel became greatly imporverished because of the Midianites and the children of the East. I believe the time has come to break the evil hand that is risen over our lives.
Every spirit of set back projected against your life to keep you poor and captive is rebuked now. May the mighty hand of the Lord begin to work in your life! As Gideon, you shall smite every Midianite. You shall overcome and prevail.
Judges 6, 7 teaches us how with wisdom the Judge Gideon broke the hand and power of Midian from Israel. God is ready to liberate His people. We are set to break the hand of evil over this generation. You are God’s man for the time and season. God wants to raise you as a Gideon to your generation.
As we pray and cry out to God as Israel cried, God is about to visit us.
Israel cried out to God; and God sent a prophet to speak the word of hope and goodwill. I am here as your prophet to speak hope and goodwill; the word of God is coming to us and we are getting ready to change the cause of history.
Gideon recieved angelic visitation. May the Lord send an angel to visit and instruct you. May you recieve direction that can change your life!
I pray for grace for you that you shall obey the voice of God to you as Gideon did. I pray that you shall act on the word of God and get results. May every evil hand be broken in the name of Jesus Christ!
Gideon, when he was commanded, broke down the altars of Baal and all the evil grooves
He raised up an army to face the Amelekites and their hosts. In raising the army two things were not to be tolerated; fear and foolishness. He started out with 32000 soldiers, but 22000 were afraid and 9700 were foolish and not vigilant. He went into battle with an army of 300 faithfuls who had faith in His sward and in God’s sword.
God worked victory and changed the course of history. Gideon rose to the occassion and acted as God would have him, and he smited Midian as one man.
This is our time and your season. You will and must rise to the occasion to break every evil hand in the name of Jesus Christ.
