[Mark 16:15-18 KJV] “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”.
One of the five signs, tokens or practices of faith is casting out devils.
Anybody who truly believes the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ doesnt entertain or fellowship with devils. They kick them out! Out of where? Out of their lives!
Devils are rebellious spirits and personalities that come to steal, kill, and destory (See John 10:9-10).
We must be committed to oppose and resist them steadfastly in the faith. You must take this art of kicking out devils seriously. This is not what you do once a week but daily and always. You know why?
Devils are always finding a way to enter into your life. Devils are always finding an accassion to enter into you. Devils entered Judas when he was offended, he entered into Ananias and Saphira when they became greedy, and he entered into Peter when he started thinking as a man. Devils can enter anybody’s life (See Luke 11:24)
Devils are always going about roaring as lions seeking whom they might devour. Devils are always walking about. I’m not mincing words here; they are seeking to devour you and they mean business.
Devil are always masquarding as angels of light, finding a way of blinding you from seeing the glorious light in the gospel. Devils are always seeking to distort and blind you from the truth.
Almost all the time the battlefield is the mind and heart. Satan will always put thoughts in your mind and heart, he would sow lust, offense, greed, fear, doubt, self pity etc. The battle field is almost always the mind or heart; your mind or heart, or the heart and mind of people close and strategic in your life. Hence the need to guard your heart with all diligence. When the devils realise they could not destory Jesus Christ; he entered into Judas and Peter. He entered into people close to the Lord.
It’s time to kick devils out. Our weapon in this season is our offerings, seeds, and thanksgiving.
In Malachi 3:10, the Lord said if we bring the offerings and tithes to His house He will rebuke the devourer. As you sow your seeds and thanksgivings, may the Lord rebuke every devourer. God delivered Israel when He saw the blood on the post. The blood cost something. Today, we are releasing the weapons of war through offerings and thanksgivings.
May the Lord rid our lives of devils. Kick devils out and enjoy freedom.
