[Luke 3:21-23 KJV] “Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,”
One of the very significant things that can happen when you are being baptised is for your heavens to open. We know that baptism is an initiation into a new life in the spirit of Christ. In that light, one of the things we should expect at baptism is an open heaven.
The Bible tells us that when the Lord Jesus Christ came up out of the water, praying, the heavens opened and the Holy Ghost descended upon him in a bodily form. We understand that Our Lord Jesus Christ did not just go under the water and come out, but He took the baptism encounter seriously. He went into the water and came out praying; no wonder the heavens opened.
Baptism is not a fun fair; it is a spiritual event that must be approached with all seriousness and faith. I speak over your life that as you stand with us in faith, your heaven will open at your baptism. God will endorse you. May great spiritual exchanges that will impact your life take place! May you never miss your chance and opportunity for an open heaven!
The Lord was not the only one being baptised; yet the heavens opened when it was His turn. You will experience an open heaven. May heaven release upon you and into you great virtues! May you come out of the water trusting that you have received great grace! May you not miss any virtue that may come upon you! This is your time and season for blessing. Receive it, in the name of Jesus Christ!
