[Philippians 4:11-13 KJV] “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”.
One of the most important skills to be acquired for an effective lifestyle is the skill and wisdom on how to live your life content in whatever state you find yourself. You must learn to live your life content when your either abound or abase. For most people, life is mostly between abounding and abasing. They experience lean seasons and abundant seasons. I pray that your life will be up always, and not up one day and down the next day.
This is the more reason why we need to learn about strategic management. You must learn how to live effectively with contentment. The following are simple steps to achieve your goals without stress;
Determine exactly what needs to be done:
Your goals must be clear. You and all the people around you must be certain about what needs to be done. Everyone must be sure what you intend to achieve. Make sure the goal of your life is clear.
Make a list of all possible options that can lead to the fulfillment of your goal;
For instance, if my goal is to get down from the 7th floor of a building, there are many way to go about it. But each option has their pros and cons. Each options will take something to arrive at my destination; but I must list all the options open to me.
Carefully and prayerfully and wisely analyze all the listed options:
This will help you to chose the option that suits the resources and opportunities available to you. Some options may be the best if you had certain kinds of resources; a wise choice would be the option which is well suited to the available resources.
Choose and pursue your best option with courage:
It will take courage, get it. You must understand that any decision which leads to somewhere worthwhile also has a price tag to it. Be willing and ready to run the full course with life and zest.
